Alethi Consulting
Our mission: make sure the AI economy ends poverty, not deepens it.
Alethi School teaches practical ways to work with AI.
Who this is for
New to AI? You're in the right room.
- You don't need to code.
- You don't need to know every tool.
- You need a workflow: clear steps you can repeat on every project.
The big idea
AI is fast.
But you know what good looks like.
Let AI do the heavy lifting. Stay the one who decides.
Context is everything
AI only knows what you give it
No context"Design a bakery website."→ A generic page that could be for anyone.
With contextThe brief · who the users are · the real problem · your colours, fonts and components · examples you like · what "done" means→ A page that fits this client.
Better context beats a clever prompt.
The harness
The model is the engine. The harness is the car.
The harness is everything you set up around the AI so it works the same way every time.

Write it downFaster next timeSteps 1–2
Start with a real brief, then research with AI
- A real project with a real problem, not a random prompt.
- Ask AI to turn the brief into problems, questions and a plan.
- Let it summarise interviews and sources.
- Always check what's actually there. AI can sound sure and still be wrong.
Steps 3–4
Explore directions, then design on your system
- Ask for several ideas, not just one.
- Narrow them down with reasons, not just gut feeling.
- Give AI your fonts, colours and components.
- Correct what it gets wrong.
Step 5 · The most important one
Judge the output
For everything AI gives you, decide:
Keep
Fix
Throw away
…and be able to explain why.
Steps 6–8
Test, build, write it down
- Test: make it clickable and put it in front of real people.
- Build: prepare clean files for developers, or build it with AI yourself.
- Write it down: record what you did so the next project is faster.

Four pieces of advice
1
Pick one real projectLearn on that, not on examples.2
Master one workflowDon't chase every new tool.3
Always checkNever ship AI output without checking it.4
Be specificA clearer brief gives a better result.AI won't replace your judgement.
It rewards it.
